Boutique Law are a London based firm who are experts in criminal, extradition and regulatory law.
Their four incredibly experienced and talented partners are from different professional backgrounds and between them have extensive and varied experience of serious and complex criminal, extradition and regulatory matters, as well as advocacy, policy and review work.
We were appointed to rebrand the firm from the ground up. The primary objective wasn’t to generate business, they have no shortage of work. Our role was to ensure the way they communicated verbally and visually was a far better expression of who they are as a firm. This in turn won’t simply get more knocks on the door, it will get the right kind of knocks; Interesting, complex, precedent setting knocks. Knocks that result in deep relationships based on mutual trust and respect and ensure the best possible outcome for their clients.
The identity created is deliberately understated and precise, mirroring the demeanor of the partners. Simple elegant typography is set sparingly in negative space providing a reassuring calm to balance the aerial landscapes abstracted to represent the maelstrom clients find themselves in. The identity exists on a new website and is sensitively applied to key communications such as court folders, signage and even office art. This project is a fantastic example of the importance of collaboration and the power of less.
